A word on my Frames:
In many cases my paintings are framed using quartersawn white oak in custom profiles that I fabricate for each work. The frames are assembled using blind miter splines (no nails), carefully hand sanded and finished using multiple coats of dye stain, followed by several coats of natural shellac, hand rubbed between coats. This process yields a furniture finish similar to a fine piece of antique furniture. The final finish is English paste wax. I have been making frames for discerning collectors, artists, and galleries for 25 years.
